This interruption of the Haydn Piano Concerto is so very interesting . . .
Watch all the way through. What happens when the musicians resume is very special and quietly empowering. The title of this video "Haydn Killed by Cell Phone" is wrong. Absolutely wrong. It should read "Haydn Triumphs" because he does. The smile and gleam in the eye of the concertmaster says it all.

This problem is not reserved for only insensitive members of the audience. I played one dress rehearsal of an orchestra when a cellphone went off and softly bleeped away for some time before going quiet. Because of the hall the conductor and most musicians could not place its location, but a few of us in the back stands recognized that is was coming from an instrument case on stage belonging to a absent player not needed at that time.
Just this past week, I spotted a trumpet player who was counting rests and using his smartphone to take a photo of his middle finger! I learned later that he sent it to the trombone player sitting behind him!
These can be dangerous gadgets for everyone including musicians. So remember - never text and play.
For some reason I had the impression that the cell phone ring in this concert came from the stage!
I thought so too! Maybe that explains the concertmaster's smile.
