Lend Me a Pick Axe
Lisa Hirsch wrote a great article concerning what she calls the "slow dismantling of the compositional gender divide" over at NewMusicBox.
I am active as a composer, a violist, a violinist, a recorder player, and as a teacher. I have been keeping this space in the blogosphere alive with assumptions about music (and assorted other things) since 2005.

It might have been Molly Sheridan's idea, actually. I just had the wisdom to recommend you as the person to write the article.
