"Bewilderment" by Florence Price

What so many of us are feeling on this Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

[performed in 2021 by Karen Slack and Michelle Cahn]

I ask you this:
Which way to go?
I ask you this:
Which sin to bear?
Which crown to put
Upon my hair?
I do not know,
Lord God,
I do not know.

 Langston Hughes

The title of the poem is "Prayer" as found in Caroling Dusk (Harper & Brothers, 1927)
