The ellipse of a cry
goes from mountain
to mountain.

From the olive trees
it will be a black rainbow
over the blue night.

Ah!

Like a viola bow
the cry has made
the wind’s long strings sound.

Ah!

(The people in the cellars
light their lamps.)
