Music is a mystery for people who play it, write it, listen to it, and write about it. The only thing I can really do when I try to say something about music is assume.

This is amazing, and one of the best I have heard in quite some time! The man's vocal range is exceptional. What is his name?
Years ago, we (San Francisco Bach Choir) hired him to sing the role of David in G.F. Handel's SAUL. Listening to his da capo arias taught me as much about how to ornament Handel's recorder sonatas as I have learned from anyone. Wong does have an amazing range (up to f above the staff). Some say he has a tendency to drift slightly sharp. Didn't bother me.
An excellent musician overall with a remarkable voice! Too bad about his personality....
I am a normal male singer, with normal tenor/rock tenor voice, however I think I can do the same, I have a really high countertenor range. Can you tell me what you think of me???? I have sang nessun dorma. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8Tywg3yy8w
I think your countertenor range is impressive! In order to get the flexibility and quality of intonation that Wong has, you should probably do some extensive studying. There is far more to Wong's singing than simply range. Perhaps through learning about the music written specifically for the high male voice, you will learn a lot about the expressive possibilities and grow as a musician.
I am active as a composer, a violist, a violinist, a recorder player, and as a teacher. I have been keeping this space in the blogosphere alive with assumptions about music (and assorted other things) since 2005.

His name is Randall Wong.

oh no! Personality? a "divo" on our hands? I hope not. I could understand possibly going sharp because of the range of the piece.
