Why oh why won't Disney release this sublime little film on DVD!? If anyone knows the piece Willie sing with three male voices (after Figaro) when Tetti Tatti first finds Willie, I'd love to know it.
It is a clever version of the sextet from Lucia di Lammermoor by Donizetti. Here's a performance of the original.
And here's one in the dramatic context with costumes and subtitles!
I love this short too! It has been a favorite since I first saw it as a kid.
Please Elaine, tell me the name of the last song, when Willie sings in heaven.
