Re: "a Bit of Wimsical Bitonality by Germaine Tailleferre," I notice that it seems wholly functional tonality even in its extended harmonies. Quite a fine choice given that so many in the era chose simply to find the harshest dissonances to stress, as if that proved modernity -- which it did not and still does not. Brava to the composer. Brave to the violinist. Bravi tutti for all.

I'm glad you liked it. I'm very excited to work on another of her pieces for next year's concert. Tailleferre is a composer of total class!
